NEWS & EVENTS

There’s so much to do and see in and around Haworth, wander along the cobbled Main Street looking in all the quaint shops, visit the home of the Bronte’s or take a walk across the moors to Top Withens, thought to be the area that provided the inspiration for Wuthering Heights. Family owned and run Weavers Restaurant with Rooms is the ideal base to explore all these delights from. It is the perfect place to satisfy the appetite you will have built up rambling across the moors. Carefully sourced produce is all cooked on site ensuring that freshness and quality is guaranteed. Their imaginative take on British classics have won them many an award since they opened in 1978 and Weavers is featured in all the major food guides.

The restaurant is quirky, with bobbins hanging from the beams, pictures covering just about every piece of wall space and quiz cards on the tables, a little something to keep you amused while your food is being prepared. If you fancy staying around these parts a little longer, or you’ve succumbed to that extra bottle of wine, (easily done in this welcoming place), then Weavers have three en-suite rooms above the restaurant. All decorated in the same quirky style as downstairs and with stunning views over cobbled Main Street or out over the church and moors beyond. It’s well worth staying a night or two just to take advantage of the fabulous breakfasts offered. Set yourself up for another day of exploring the area with a hearty full English or some kedgeree frittata, this will keep you going until you’re ready to come back for dinner!
